This lovely Flower Festival, in the pretty village of Danbury had a theme of West End Musicals. Here are David's two designs. The left photograph depicts the wonderful "Sunset Boulevard", the right hand photograph is the fabulous "Follies"

CANADA BLOOMS

CHELMSFORD CATHEDRAL
The 2014 exhibition, which took place from 18th - 21st July, was called 'Seeds of Change'. It was also 'A Centenary Celebration in Flowers' to celebrate 100 years of the Diocese Chelmsford Cathedral. David Thomson's arrangements comprised 20 designs on the theme of architecture, using as inspiration the Gibberd Garden in Harlow, Essex, of which three are shown here.

FIRST SITE ART GALLERY, COLCHESTER
David was asked to produce a series of floral designs with the theme "Thinking Outside The Vase" in which members of the public (including children) were asked to actively participate.

FLOWERS @ OXFORD
Organised by Judith Blacklock and the Fleur Creativ magazine, this was an exhibition of floral art created by international designers. David, together with his colleague Kay Ridley, representing the Spectrum Design Group, created an outdoor design entitled "From the Tree to the Bottle" incorporating cork tree bark and cork tree leaves as well as the wine corks themselves.
